Author and artist John Hopkins
A keen curiosity for what lies beyond common knowledge shape John’s thought-provoking and entertaining character-driven storytelling. Following his muse, he created Lost Cactus, a comic strip set on a top-secret research base (think M*A*S*H meets the X-Files, and you get the idea). The three-panel strip’s humor and supernatural mythology evolved into colorful anthologies that included a shared universe of short stories, laying the foundation for The Powers That Be trilogy.
In addition to enjoying family life and his dog, John pursues his artistic passion while working on a wellspring of forthcoming sci-fi sequels and graphic novels featuring the expansive world-building within his ongoing The Powers That Be | Lost Cactus multiverse.
